This is one of the most beautiful books I have ever read。 Each character is entirely different, and they speak differently。 I love Mr。 Darcy's character development throughout the book。 And my dear Elizabeth, from the moment she is introduced, I fell in love。。。 ❤️This is a must-read book, recommended to everyone。 This is one of the most beautiful books I have ever read。 Each character is entirely different, and they speak differently。 I love Mr。 Darcy's character development throughout the book。 And my dear Elizabeth, from the moment she is introduced, I fell in love。。。 ❤️This is a must-read book, recommended to everyone。 。。。more

Literature perfection。 I don’t know why I shied away from the classics for so long, because this is perfection。 This was probably the original “from enemies to lovers” concept and did not feel like a cringy cliche for one second。 It feels like I grew to love Mr Darcy with Elizabeth, which to me is brilliant writing。 I really, really like the style of writing and the unexpected amount of sarcasm。 I have quite a wide range of genres with romance usually being near the very end of my list, but afte Literature perfection。 I don’t know why I shied away from the classics for so long, because this is perfection。 This was probably the original “from enemies to lovers” concept and did not feel like a cringy cliche for one second。 It feels like I grew to love Mr Darcy with Elizabeth, which to me is brilliant writing。 I really, really like the style of writing and the unexpected amount of sarcasm。 I have quite a wide range of genres with romance usually being near the very end of my list, but after spending some time really engaging in the wonderful world of Jane Austen, I now consider this book one of my all time favorites! I have learned one thing from listening to Jane Austen on audiobook, and that is that I am really not able to listen to Jane Austen on audiobook。 Due to the very large number of characters involved and the language used, this is a book that requires 100% concentration and that just wasn’t possible in audio format。 I often found myself thinking I would like to go back and reread passages to understand further。 That said, I do appreciate the work itself, although I can’t say that finishing it has I have learned one thing from listening to Jane Austen on audiobook, and that is that I am really not able to listen to Jane Austen on audiobook。 Due to the very large number of characters involved and the language used, this is a book that requires 100% concentration and that just wasn’t possible in audio format。 I often found myself thinking I would like to go back and reread passages to understand further。 That said, I do appreciate the work itself, although I can’t say that finishing it has made me into more of an Austen fan。 I tried! 。。。more

I really wanted to like this book。 I suppose I'm just not a fan of Austen's writing style。 It felt detached and gossipy。 It failed to stir my emotions or make me care strongly about any of the characters。 I understand the significance of this book in its own time period, but I did not enjoy it。 To each their own。 🤷🏼♀️ I really wanted to like this book。 I suppose I'm just not a fan of Austen's writing style。 It felt detached and gossipy。 It failed to stir my emotions or make me care strongly about any of the characters。 I understand the significance of this book in its own time period, but I did not enjoy it。 To each their own。 🤷🏼♀️ 。。。more
